Half way married

So last week was Spring Break so things were more crazy and I had less time to really appreciate the little funny things the kids said. But no worries, they brought it all, full force, as soon as they came back. My favorite conversation went something like this:

"Miss Krystle, guess what?!?"
"What buddy?"
"I went to Disneyland, and when I got home my mom got half way married!"
"Do you mean she got engaged?"
"No...She got half way married!"
"How do you get halfway married?"
"I don't know...but he's from Australia so when he says hello to friends he says 'Hullo Mate'...it's silly."

I'm still confused on the whole "half way married" thing, but it happened... I guess!

Cat's don't care!

So earlier this week I had gotten off work packed up my stuff and was getting ready to head out the door. One of the girls cut me off from the door we had a short conversation that made me laugh.

"Miss Krystle, can I be your dog?"
"Ummm....I'm leaving to go home."
"Oh, ok....I'll be your cat then!"
She then followed me around blocking me from the door. The difference between a cat and I dog, you tell them to go play and they will go play...a cat doesn't care!

The day's aren't always funny, but they are always worth it!

Today I'm sure there were some funny conversations that went on, but the conversation I remember most was between me and one of the girls. It went something like this:

"Miss Krystle?"
"Yes???"
"You're SOOO pretty!!!"
"Thank you!"
"It's true."

We continued to talk about how she wants to be a singer, a cheer leader, how she wouldn't want to be in track. It seems that it's the kids that know when you need to hear something that will lift you up enough to last the rest of the week! My job might not pay a whole lot of money...but it's totally worth it!

Harry Potter's Luck!

Working with kids and living with a very close friend makes for some very funny conversations. These are some of the conversations that I love!

This morning while at work I was working on writing creative stories with the kids. One of the little boys loves talking and we often have funny conversations. This conversations took place today

"Miss Krystle, do you know why Harry Potter was SOOO lucky?"
"No, why was he so lucky?"
"Because he lived under the stairs!"
"Oh?"
"Yeah! Stairs are opposite of a ladder!"

Haha I'm not sure why I found this so funny, but I loved it!
